"Child like, hauntingly seductive and worldly-wise, Alexa's voice really delivers." -- Tim Page (Pulitzer Prize winner and former chief critic of the Washington Post and NY Times)

ALEXA, a New York City native, graduated Juilliard in 1999 with degrees in both piano and composition. Having performed in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Arabic, Alexa has accompanied many of the world’s top musicians, including a duet of "Killing Me Softly" with Roberta Flack at the Blue Note. Recently she was invited to sing backup for Sting and Chris Botti. In 2007, her performance of the original song "Scarlet Rose" was featured on the CBS hit series Cold Case (2007). Her original song "Crazy" was featured in the independent film Dungeons and Dawgs that premieres at Sundance next year. Alexa was extremely honored to compete in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, and was featured playing the piano music of Debussy for the soundtrack of the soundtrack of the film adapted from Capote's Other Voices, Other Rooms. She was commissioned to compose "The Women of Don Quixote" for the 400th anniversary of Cervantes’ Novel, which premiered in Granada, Spain. There, she also has a working band with Flamenco musicians called Charlie Smiles. In November of 2007, Alexa gave a performance/lecture on her music in Cadiz, Spain at an all woman composer’s conference. At the enthusiastic encouragement of Carly Simon, Alexa has been writing, recording and producing her debut album, a selection of songs culled from her more than 300-song repertoire.

Jaded

jadedrockers.com

Jaded is a hard-hitting, all female rock band from Boston that kicks you in the face with a rock-n-roll party, firing on all cylinders. Bursting with rock energy and decadence, this band delivers in talent, looks, and raw aggression. Katy Haze's soaring vocals caress the ear while biting and tearing with reckless abandon. This is clearly not your average screaming vocalist! Britt Lightning compliments her perfectly, shredding her guitar with a precise, fiery assault of fret- work. Laurel Wolff's pulsating bass makes you pump your fist as she drives the band and the party! Hillary Blaze pounds her drums, adding rapid fire double kick to complete the rock-n-roll onslaught. Jaded's live show is a high octane experience, both visually and aurally, that has earned them a devoted following everywhere they have played.

Jaded has played in support of Alice in Chains, Buckcherry, Twisted Sister, Bret Michael's Rock of Love Tour, Skid Row, Disturbed, The Fray, Doro, Saliva, Shadowsfall, Everclear, Lit, Quiet Riot, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gin Blossoms, Lacuna Coil, W.A.S.P., Stryper, Tesla, George Lynch, Kittie, Vixen, Damageplan, Winger, Powerman5000, Silvertide, LA Guns, Crossfade, etc. The band has played festivals to crowds of 30,000 people and toured Europe in support of W.A.S.P. Jaded has acquired the endorsements of Jackson Guitars, Ovation Guitars, Sabian Cymbals, Vic Firth Drumsticks, Dunlop, Coffin Case, Remo, Hercules Stands, and Levy's Leathers.

Swear On Your Life

SWEAR ON YOUR LIFE was formed in the spring of 2005 by MilitiA (from FUSE, MTV2, VH1 and DEE SNIDER's VAN HELSING'S CURSE).

Often described as "Riot grrrl meets Rage Against the Machine", SOYL is exhilarating, empowering, triumphant, daring and mean with a vengeance - while putting a bullet into every cliché associated with female-fronted hard rock / heavy metal.

Heavily influenced by Nine Inch Nails, Skunk Anansie, Primus, Faith No More, Korn, PJ Harvey and L7, this NYC-based band has mastered the art of welding punishingly heavy grooves and blistering guitar noise with soaring melodies and mile-wide hooks. Add a dash of biting existentially thematic lyrics and SWEAR ON YOUR LIFE creates a unique brand of rock so hard it leaves bruises.

In Fall 2007, SOYL released their first e.p., "BURN MY CROSSES". Within a week, the record was BANNED at two colleges (and counting ...) in the US because it was deemed "offensive". However, the record also received very positive attention via the hard rock and college radio circuit-charting as high as #3 at some schools. Because of this, SOYL has regularly appeared on the musician's panel and meet and greets at the IBS International Radio, TV, Webcasting and Podcasting Conference in NYC.

SWEAR ON YOUR LIFE has recently shared the stage with Twisted Sister [Bent Brother], Made Out of Babies, Bella Morte and Voltaire. The band has appeared on TALKING METAL, headlined BLACK ROCK COALITION events (BRC Director, Earl Douglas named SOYL's album as one of the Top 10 Best of 2008), "TAKE BACK NEW YORK" benefits and THE GITS MOVIE NYC Premiere Party - where original riot grrrl KATHLEEN HANNA (Bikini Kill, Le Tigre) described MilitiA's voice as "some of the best live vocals (she's) ever heard".

SWEAR ON YOUR LIFE is here. Brace yourself.

In her iron fist, Queen V clutches a mic and claims sovereignty over your senses with that hard-edged, bombastic rock sound you’ve been missing. With her new album "Death or Glory", which features contributions from the likes of Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead), Vernon Reid (Living Colour) and Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), and others, V prepares to turn the rock world on its ass with bold and sexual lyrics, palpable passion, and a generous dose of caustic wit. The seamless shift from screeching rock to soulful balladry is classic Queen V, determined to express her emotions, no matter how raw or how revealing. Having toured with Billy Idol, Bon Jovi and Twisted Sister, V’s fans will get to watch the singer wrestle with those demons once again as she plans to bring her utterly intense live show to a town near you.

SIRSY (pronounced, sir-see) : This fiery, sultry, soulful, indie pop rock duo is a musical "breath of fresh air in the too often homogenized landscape of indie rock". SIRSY is fronted by the charismatic Melanie Krahmer who critics call a girl with a "stunning voice capable of a lion's roar and a floaty whisper" ... a girl "with the lungs of a teenage athlete and the growl of a sixty-something blues singer". Krahmer is also the band's drummer, playing a full drum kit (while STANDING UP), bass parts with her drum stick, a few Ian Anderson-esque flute solos and some melodica, too. Sharing the stage is co-writer and bandmate, Rich Libutti on guitar. Libutti also sits in on piano, plays bass parts with his feet, and the occasional snare part with his feet (during Krahmer's flute solos- so the drums don't stop).

Despite the multi-tasking on stage to create such a full sound, this critically acclaimed duo has a "dynamic stage presence" that "wows audiences at over 250 shows per year nationally". SIRSY has played with: Maroon5, Lifehouse, Collective Soul, Third Eye Blind, Blues Traveler, Cheap Trick, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, Lez Zeppelin, and many more. SIRSY's well crafted, hook laden, songs are rich with clever lyrics and infectious melodies. SIRSY's song "Revolution" was distributed worldwide through the November 2008 Relix Magazine CD (alongside Joan Osborne, Lucinda Williams, and more).

"Little Band, BIG Sound!"
      --The Boston Globe
"Krahmer can sing, scream, blow flute, drum, & tease, and she does them all REALLY well. Libutti plays everything else (sometimes with his feet!) GO SEE SIRSY!"
      --The Village Voice, NYC
"Inventive rock n' roll... musical multi-taskers who create a startlingly full sound... the result is a collection of catchy, energetic, soulful songs."
      --The Hartford Courant, CT
"Ear catching, lyrically smart and musically sound. Krahmer's voice is as good as it gets, and one you'll put up against anyone. And I mean anyone."
      --Connecticut Valley Spectator, NH
"DIY Artist of the Year" 07-08 & "Album of the Year" 07
      -—Radio Crystal Blue (NYC)
"SIRSY wows crowds at over 250 shows per year nationally."
      -—Relix Magazine (Worldwide)

CHIX 6 is an explosive rock musical written and composed by Lourds Lane (lead singer and multi-instrumentalist from the national touring band, LOURDS) about one young woman’s heroic journey toward her life beyond abusive relationships ... with the help of six larger-than-life superhero divas. This white hot theatrical event -- a full throttle multi-media feast with the latest in whiz-bang lighting effects and eye-popping costumes -- features an all-female cast of rockers hand-picked by Lane from the NYC indie rock and roll scene. Guaranteed: over-the-top guitar solos, thundering drum licks, electric violin and flute insanity, diva star turns, a thrash-and-thrill dance duo, and songs everyone will walk away singing.
